Step-by-Step: Creating a Property Template
There are two ways to create a property template in myInspections:
Create a template when creating a new property
- Visit the properties page in your myInspections dashboard.
- Add a new property.
- Select the layout builder option.
- Fill out the form to generate a property layout.
- From here, you can edit the property layout by adding or removing spaces and tweaking any checklists.
- Click the property layout menu button [ ⋮ ].
- Select save as a new template.
Next time you create a property, you’ll be able to use this layout as a template.
Create a template from an existing property
- Visit the properties page in your myInspections dashboard.
- Click the property layout menu button [ ⋮ ] for the property you want to save as a template.
- Select save as a new template.
